Mozart s Clarinet Quintet K.581 is a work for A Clarinet and String Quartet. The composer wrote the piece for the clarinetist, Anton Stadler, his good friend. The work was Mozart s only Clarinet Quintet.  It remains to this day one of the most admired of the composer s works. The quintet is sometimes referred to as the Stadler Quintet. Mekara transcribed the work for Alto Clarinet and Piano.
